Denmark River Paperbark Trees

These intertwining paperbarks are a defining feature along the Denmark River in Western Australia. Their silvery bark stands out against the black water of the wetlands.

I am a travelling artist, I often paint on site by the ocean or in the sand. The ocean and its flow are what inspire my work whether I’m painting a beach scene, a memory or an expression of myself.
