Bluebells

While on a walk in Ireland came upon a bluebell grove on forest floor.It captured my imagination and I came home and painted a loose depiction of the scene.Very evocative and gentle expression of the bluebells amongst the trees.

I am a mixed media artist.As my practice developed my works have become more diversified.I work in both acrylics and oils and often use collage and mixed media to create more interest.
Currently I have been working on collage/mixed media to create urban views from local scenes and my travels.
Currently I have also been working on pure abstraction.
I have an interest in abstracting images from nature and the landscape with these paintings I work in both oils and acrylics.
My personality thrives on diversity so I continue to explore these varied themes in my art works.
