Artwork Description

Don’t you just love the reflecting colours of the sun through water. In this sunset, the droplets of water send shimmering flashes of colours as the curve of the wave folds within itself.

Features:
This artwork “Inside the Curve” is painted in acrylics on a basswood surface with pine sides measuring 61cm W x 46cm H x 4cm D (24”x 18”), ready to hang. The sides are painted in a mix of solid dark blue colours and the painting is coated with several coats of satin varnish for a protection seal. Artwork is signed on the front.

Colours:
Whilst every effort is made to ensure that all artwork images are as accurate as possible, colours may vary due to inconsistencies between monitors and photography. Therefore the artwork may differ slightly to that which appears on screen.

Artist Bio

I am a relatively new artist living in Perth, Western Australia having started in acrylics a few years ago. My love of the ocean or anything water related is often reflected in my paintings although I do paint anything that inspires me.

Learning is a constant passion of mine and recently I have delved into watercolours and also charcoal and portraiture! You never know, what might appear in my listings too! So diverse - it’s so exciting to try new techniques and always adds to the journey to whatever art form I decide to do.

Travel is also important to me, whether that be in my own state of Western Australia down at Augusta in the southwest or Rottnest Island or caravanning up north or across this vast continent of ours. It all adds to the mix of experiences to transform into artwork, I have sooo much to paint!

It’s the colours that inspire me so if they work, especially involving seascapes then I’m one very happy lady.
