Port Gregory Jetty

This is taken at a little fishing town at Port Gregory in north Western Australia. A tiny town with a caravan park and a jetty. It’s simply so peaceful with a reef breaking the swells for the fishing boats to shelter in this bay. Very historical port which was previously the supply and export point for the mines in the area back in the day. It’s nearby to the pink lakes which are quite remarkable.

“Port Gregory Jetty” is painted in acrylics on stretched canvas 50 W x 40cm H coated with varnish for a protective seal in a floating frame and ready to hang. Artwork is signed on the front and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

I am a relatively new artist living in Perth, Western Australia having started in acrylics a few years ago. My love of the ocean or anything water related is often reflected in my paintings although I do paint anything that inspires me.

Learning is a constant passion of mine and recently I have delved into watercolours and also charcoal and portraiture! You never know, what might appear in my listings too! So diverse - it’s so exciting to try new techniques and always adds to the journey to whatever art form I decide to do.

Travel is also important to me, whether that be in my own state of Western Australia down at Augusta in the southwest or Rottnest Island or caravanning up north or across this vast continent of ours. It all adds to the mix of experiences to transform into artwork, I have sooo much to paint!

It’s the colours that inspire me so if they work, especially involving seascapes then I’m one very happy lady.
