Artwork Description

This is a secluded place we found as an overnight camping spot near Karratha in northern Western Australia. How lucky are we to find these little gems and have this all to ourselves, no one around. We live in such a beautiful place. The light of the setting sun this particular evening played beautifully over the grasses. The serenity and calm and openness made for such an ahhh moment.

This piece of artwork “Sunset Camp” is painted in acrylics on primed and gessoed board, sealed with 2 coats of varnish. It is unframed, ready for you to chose your own as you desire. The painting is signed on the front and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Colours: Whilst every effort is made to ensure that all artwork images are as accurate as possible, colours may vary due to inconsistencies between monitors and photography. Therefore the artwork may differ slightly to that which appears on screen.

Artist Bio

I am a relatively new artist living in Perth, Western Australia having started in acrylics a few years ago. My love of the ocean or anything water related is often reflected in my paintings although I do paint anything that inspires me.

Learning is a constant passion of mine and recently I have delved into watercolours and also charcoal and portraiture! You never know, what might appear in my listings too! So diverse - it’s so exciting to try new techniques and always adds to the journey to whatever art form I decide to do.

Travel is also important to me, whether that be in my own state of Western Australia down at Augusta in the southwest or Rottnest Island or caravanning up north or across this vast continent of ours. It all adds to the mix of experiences to transform into artwork, I have sooo much to paint!

It’s the colours that inspire me so if they work, especially involving seascapes then I’m one very happy lady.
