Gail paints her connection to the land. Recently she has become interested in more abstract forms and shapes found in the landscape. .
On location (enpleinair) around Sydney, NSW, Scotland, and England often inspire her paintings. Recently she painted in France and the Scottish Highlands.
When back in the Sydney studio some of these paintings are finished and some are re-worked into larger sizes.
She also enjoys spending time with her family, and friends, and in her garden.
