Artwork Description

Particularly Prudent and Proudly Peculiar is our Prunella.

She’s not just a cat; she’s a statement. Bathed in a fashionable pink hue against a soft, pale apricot glow, Prunella is the perfect balance of grace and mischief.

This mixed media piece uses a delicate layering of acrylic and paper, giving her coat a subtle, touchable texture that catches the light. She embodies the proudly peculiar spirit of those who know how to command a room without even trying.

She’s more than just a piece of art, she’s a vibrant personality. Radiating warmth and elegance, she quietly makes sure everyone knows who truly runs the show. Prunella doesn’t just sit in the background; she joins the conversation, bringing an air of charm and an irresistible energy that captivates every corner of her domain.

Artist Bio

In every work of art, there’s a bit of the artist…and a lot of their cat.

Gail is the kind of cat lady who has crossed the point of no return, so of course she now immortalizes her furry overlords in paint.

Not your everyday aloof house cat that sometimes brings you a dead mouse to say, “Hey lady, here’s that rent I owe you for food and board,” but cats who quote Ricky Gervais at 3 a.m., cats who insist on philosophical debates before breakfast and cats with enough personality to start their own sitcom. Felines that are impossible to ignore, and ones you’ll fall in love with and want to adopt into your home.

Gail could pretty much paint anything, but let’s be real her cats have unionised and demanded full artistic representation. That said, they’re not averse to letting her dabble in the odd abstract expressionist work.
