Artwork Description

The painting “Fluffy spring” evokes a joyful spring mood, evokes the memory of lilac scent.
The picture is very elegant, in the center of it is a tall vase with freshly picked lilacs and tulips. The pink, white and purple clusters of lilac, like the rays of the sun, diverge in different directions from the white ceramic vase. Gentle tones soften the foliage, the bouquet takes on a vague outline, it seems to be shrouded in misty haze.
You will not succeed in escaping the waiting gaze of the cat in a boot. What is he waiting for? Perhaps he wants to play or eat something tasty. It is almost impossible to refuse him, this cat seems so realistic. The sparkle in the blue eyes, the slightly moist nose and the thorough drawing of the fur evoke a desire to touch it and caress.
This painting is ideal for a children's room. It can be hung above the bed or desk to create vivid emotions in the child.

Artist Bio

I am a self-taught oil painter living half of the year in Birch Bay, WA and half of the year in Oahu, HI. I enjoy painting in a realistic style so that the canvas scenes evoke emotions that allow my soul to travel.

I focus my attention to detail and vibrant use of light and color to capture nature’s awe-inspiring beauty. My passion for the natural world is evident in every dreamlike work of art I create. I absorb healing energy from nature and transpose it to my paintings.

Painting for me is like dreaming, only on canvas.

My favorite subjects include seascapes, flowers, and landscapes. I have studied multiple techniques around the world, combining everything from traditional painting to engraving to form my own unique style. My paintings convey a pleasant, calm joy of life.

They are a window into a special universe filled with happiness and harmony.

I have a Ph D in Chemistry, and I taught math for 22 years. I really enjoy painting, paddle boarding and skiing.
I travel a lot. I observe the beauty of nature, places, animals and people. Traveling inspires me, changes my perspective, and gives me positive creativity which flows into my artwork. In each painting I try to create a special space with its unique vibes.
