Sunset

Influenced by impressionist colour and expressive contemporary landscape painting, this work focuses on mood over realism. Saturated sunset tones and layered marks create a luminous horizon and a reflective surface that pulls the viewer into the scene.

Galina Payne is a talented artist and a graduate of the Tver Art College named after Venetsianov. She moved to Australia and actively participates in local exhibitions. She has also worked with people with disabilities, helping them achieve success in exhibitions. Her works can be seen in galleries in Fremantle, and in her artistic practice she works with oil, acrylic, and pastel.
