Waves at the Reef

This coastal scene focuses on the meeting point between open blue water and rugged shoreline. The composition is intentionally calm and spacious: a wide horizon line, gentle waves, and sunlit rock forms on the right. Influenced by contemporary seascape painting and a love of simple, natural rhythms, the work is about atmosphere — that quiet moment when you can hear the surf and feel the wind even indoors.

Galina Payne is a talented artist and a graduate of the Tver Art College named after Venetsianov. She moved to Australia and actively participates in local exhibitions. She has also worked with people with disabilities, helping them achieve success in exhibitions.
