Softly intense

This is a collection of 11 small drawings I made earlier this year.
Inspired by Asian village life style which is conservative, hidden, but fulfilling and beautiful at the same time.
A moment of safe heaven from techno world and they would take me think that there is still a simple life out out there which still exist.

Watercolours and Ink drawings on 100% cotton handmade paper with natural deckled edges.
Stained with Hibiscus water.

This artwork is unframed as it is uniquely bold in colour and design, which will give the freedom to the collector to match the framing to their personal taste. The in situ images show that this work goes with any colourful wall.

I deliver my works on paper unframed in sturdy mailers or tubes because it is environmental friendly, light to travel and easy to handle with low cost/man power. I believe in supporting your favourite artists but also your friendly local framer businesses as a form of community engagement.

Hiranya is a classical figurative artist based in Brisbane, Australia.
She exclusively produces works derived from memories and experiences
through various reflexions of today’s social, cultural and economic ambience.
Bold colours and symbolism are a focus point.
Deeply expressive facial features; body movements and postures on display are highly influenced by her cultural heritage and
decades long figure studies in historical frescoes and murals in spiritual locations from her birth country.

She is currently working on two series, a Summer-floral themed series and another called 'Tea Room' which is a personal fascination.
Summer-floral theme is titled "FLORA'S SECRET" where the artist is breaking all the boundaries of colour and patterns with lots of details around the female identity.
"TEA ROOM" series on the other hand stays within her signature stripe patterns on the subject's outfit, starting from simpler-minimal story to sophisticated tales with symbolism.

Each work takes its own significant time to finish based on the amount of details going in.
The beauty of every aspect and little details of each work is extremely important to the artist.
Hence they are carefully realised.
