In 2018 I was invited by The Pentagon, Washington to create works that tell the story of the Australian and American defence relationship. The exhibition is titled ‘The Kangaroo and the Eagle, friends and allies 1908 to 2019. I am the first Australia artist to be invited to exhibit his art at the Pentagon.
Mt painting ‘Quick Mum over here, I think that I have Found Him - 2013’ was exhibited in the Australian War Memorial’s entrance foyer. The 2019 painting ‘When I close my Eyes’ has been purchased by the Australian War Memorial as part of its permanent collection.
I was the lead artist for the Caloundra Regional Gallery's Anzac commemorative exhibition 'Of Peace and War' in 2015 and lead artist in the ‘Landscape and Memory: Frank Hurley and a Nation Imagined’ exhibition curated by academics from the University of Southern Queensland.
My works have also been displayed in a number of regional galleries, the Queensland State Library, The Army Aviation Museum, The Queensland Parliament, The Queensland Maritime Museum, The Gallipoli Club and in sites related to Australia’s involvement in the Western Front in France including the Musee Jean et Denise Letaille Museum - Bullecourt 1917.
My story-telling in paint was also featured on an ANZAC Day special episode of the ABC's Landline Program titled ‘ANZAC Painters’ in 2017.
