It is magical to watch the Magnolia buds unfold, the freshness of the blossoms and the delicate yet strong branches that hold them all in place. The tree metamorphosis from a leafy green in summer, to all withered and barren in winter to hold it all in and, erupt into colour at the start of spring!
The flowers are in different stages of its bloom and the interplay of light and shadow is a joy to watch.
White paint is not used and the beautiful pigments from Daniel Smith and Schmincke are magical to paint with.

Hi! I'm Gaya and since my childhood I have been fascinated by the natural world, its vibrant colours, interplay of light and shadows and how textures and fragrance evoke thoughts and memories.
Art enables me to capture the essence of the natural world in a way that engages and inspires.

Living in the beautiful FerntreeGully and being a member of the FerntreeGully Artists Society I have had the opportunity to display my art at the exhibitions at the Hut Gallery.
I would like to promote collecting and owning original artwork at affordable prices for all who enjoy art and would like to own one.
Art is a good investment that you can enjoy and businesses in Australia may even be able to get a tax deduction when it is purchased for the workplace or office.

You would notice that I have not signed my name in the visible part of the painting as I would like the frame to have just the painting.
The signature is behind the painting, however if you would want me to sign in the bottom of the picture I would be happy to oblige.

Each of my paintings come with a Certificate of Authenticity and are painted on archival 100% cotton 300gsm paper
with high quality pigments , so you can be assured of receiving high quality artwork that lasts.
Most of them are framed and ready to be a part of your home or office.
