I wanted to capture my son's newly found love of magic and fantasy within this piece. I've used lots of fluid and whimsical brushstrokes to capture movement and energy. I have used a playful yet mysterious colour palette to capture his love of magic too. There is depth, light and shade, and contrast in this piece which works well to create harmony on the canvas.
