Artwork Description

This painting of a kudu was inspired by my time in Africa, where encountering these striking antelope in their natural habitat left a lasting impression. Known for their graceful horns and quiet alertness, kudus embody both elegance and survival in the wild. This work is a reflection of that experience鈥攕tanding still, taking in the rhythm of nature, and feeling humbled by its scale and majesty.

I am a charcoal drawing artist based in Queensland, whose work captures the raw beauty and emotion of the natural world. Deeply inspired by wildlife, my art often reflects experiences from overseas animal conservation trips, as well as the rugged spirit of country and western themes. Horses feature prominently in many pieces, embodying a deep respect for their strength and grace. With a passion for drawing anything encountered in everyday life, my artistic journey is a personal reflection of connection to both environment and experience.
