Artwork Description

Through this piece, I aimed to evoke a bygone era of Australian life, when working horses were an essential part of daily labor and community. It captures two Clydesdale harness horses with their heads close, capturing a moment of silent communication and connection. The painting highlights the collaboration and teamwork these horses require to work in perfect unison, guided by their human handlers. It celebrates their sheer strength combined with a gentle nature, reflecting both the power and grace of these animals.

Artist Bio

I am a charcoal drawing artist based in Queensland, whose work captures the raw beauty and emotion of the natural world. Deeply inspired by wildlife, my art often reflects experiences from overseas animal conservation trips, as well as the rugged spirit of country and western themes. Horses feature prominently in many pieces, embodying a deep respect for their strength and grace. With a passion for drawing anything encountered in everyday life, my artistic journey is a personal reflection of connection to both environment and experience.
