I photographed this old man sitting at the bus stop, and imagined him having a conversation with a younger version of himself - something I think we’ve all wished we could do at some stage!

This is a snapshot of a typical morning street scene in front of this beautiful old building in Fitzroy, Melbourne. I love this area and was originally planning to paint the entire building, but instead, decided to focus on the bus stop and the microcosm of life that passes through every day.
Using a unique combination of impressionism and hand cut stencils, the background is multi-layered and textured to symbolise generations of history and also to create visual interest.
