Woman

This painting was developed from a life drawing that I did with my left hand. It was perhaps inspired by the awkward style of Egon Schiele. I really like the way the model was posing with her hands and head on her knee.

I have been working in a range of art media for 50 years. On a regular basis I am doing pottery, drawing, jewellery, bonsai and painting. When it comes to painting, I usually work in the portrait or landscape and I favour either colour or texture in my work.
