In this study of light and form, the male body is juxtaposed with the beauty of the landscape. There is an almost grotesque quality emphasised through the use of texture and abstraction, while the drops of water adds an ethereal glow, blurring the line between body and landscape.

George is a Melbourne-based fine art photographer whose images explore the dichotomy of darkness and light. His conceptual approach often takes the form of self-portraiture, which he employs to investigate his own identity. Outside of his art practice, George teaches photography, post-production, and filmmaking at Photography Studies College, and the Centre for Adult Education.
