Untamed Currents

This piece is an exploration of nature in motion, layered and constantly evolving. Sweeping ribbons of sage, moss, turquoise and soft lavender weave across the canvas like waterways carving their path through dense vegetation. Rich earthy browns anchor the composition, creating a sense of depth and grounding amongst the movement.

Built through intuitive mark-making and expressive layers, the painting captures the feeling of wandering through a landscape where forest, mangrove and water converge. Organic forms emerge and dissolve throughout the work, inviting the viewer to discover something new each time they return.

The interplay between chaos and harmony reflects the rhythms found in the natural world, growth, decay, renewal and flow. Vibrant accents of pink and yellow punctuate the surface like fleeting moments of light filtering through a canopy, bringing energy and life to the composition.
