Georgie Moss is an award-winning, emerging artist born and based in Perth, Western Australia.
Her artistic process reflects the joy found in Australian native flora and fauna. She works with mixed media: predominantly acrylics and watercolours on wood panels and slices. She specialises in botanical and wildlife paintings, focusing on capturing the small details that are only noticed upon further inspection.
Georgie enjoys painting on the unique surface of the wood as the striations influence her design and composition, and the natural warmth of the wood interacts with the colour palette.
