My love for oil painting began at a very young age. As a teenager i was greatly influenced by the work of the Impressionists. In 1984 i obtained a B.A HONS in Fine Art at the Gloucestershire College of the Arts in the U.K. In 1986 i came to Tasmania and since then have had numerous solo shows and have been part of many group shows, all in Hobart. I have been a finalist in the John Glover Art Prize twice and am currently exhibiting in the " Wild Island Gallery" in Hobart. I am greatly inspired by the wilderness here in Tasmania, aswell as the huge skies ocean and unspoilt beaches.
