I am a Melbourne artist and painter. I have always been creative and driven by a love of colour. I paint to fulfil a desire to create beauty or express something metaphoric. I use colour, line and geometric type shapes with an overarching graphic style.
My paintings are a combination of aerial views, landscapes, mosaic type patterning or imaginary compilations from real life. My art is influenced by my work as a Psychotherapist, an interest in spirituality and a childhood growing up in the Modern era of Design and Architecture. I lived in two different Robin Boyd houses; one looked out to the hills, East of East Ivanhoe, The other looked out to the curves of the Port Philip bay shore line at Mount Martha. When I paint I re-live deep memories of the shapes from these vistas as well as the many geometric shapes that are firmly etched in my psyche from Robin’s exteriors and interiors.
