I was born 1959 in Melbourne Australia. I developed a talent for drawing at age 6, copying cartoons from the daily newspaper. I trained in Art and Design at Caulfield Institute (Monash University) where I studied illustration and graphic design.
My paintings are realistic in style, painted from photographic reference, mainly in oils. I use an indirect (layered) method of painting, based on traditional academic methods.
Lately I have branched out into watercolour landscapes and still life in oil.
