Magical pond

I love using textures in my paintings, for this piece I chose to use just thick acrylic paint applied by an old credit card.
Its so much fun, and I get the results that I want. Its been painted on a canvas board and framed in natural oak to set off the beautiful colours in the painting.
It also has glass over the artwork to keep dust off it.

I am an Illawarra based artist and my background is Interior and graphic design, this is evident in my paintings as I love bright colour, pattern and design. My other passion is in landscape and the freedom that the palette knife/credit card gives plus the use of bright clear colours which are my defining mark.
My florals are reminiscent of my graphic background with bold colours and even bolder outlines. I love the challenge of creating artworks using various mediums from inks, acrylics watercolour and the richness of oils.
