Artwork Description

Hi for this painting I applied it with my palette knife,
It was so much fun ! Running my palette knife through various colours and putting it on the canvas to see what I could create. The freedom that you get is amazing and I really like how it turned out oh and there is some gold leaf in there also. I hope you like it as much as I like it.

I am an Illawarra based artist and my background is Interior and graphic design, this is evident in my paintings as I love bright colour, pattern and design. My other passion is in landscape and the freedom that the palette knife/credit card gives plus the use of bright clear colours which are my defining mark.
My florals are reminiscent of my graphic background with bold colours and even bolder outlines. I love the challenge of creating artworks using various mediums from inks, acrylics watercolour and the richness of oils.
