Artwork Description

"Duality of Sight" explores the layered nature of perception—how we see, what we choose to see, and what remains unseen within ourselves and others. The split face, rendered in bold geometric forms, symbolizes the coexistence of opposing forces: logic and emotion, the conscious and subconscious, the outer mask and inner truth.
In this work, sight becomes more than just a physical act; it is a metaphor for duality in identity, thought, and experience.
The piece uses bold lines and geometric shapes, reminiscent of Cubism and tribal art influences. The division of the face into segmented planes and the use of flat color areas are key stylistic elements.
Dominated by black, red, gold, gray, and white, the colors create strong contrast and emotional intensity. The warm tones of red, gold and orange give the image a vibrant energy.

Artist Bio

Art has always been my voice and my greatest love. I began painting from a young age, and what started as a quiet curiosity soon grew into a deep, lifelong passion. As far back as I can remember, creativity has been my constant companion.
My inspiration comes from everything—sunlight streaming through leaves, the chaotic beauty of cities, the serene silence of nature. I believe the world is full of stories waiting to be told in colour, texture, and movement. For me, painting isn’t just about creating something beautiful—it’s about capturing moments, emotions, and dreams that can’t be expressed in words. Each canvas I create is a piece of my soul, a visual diary of what moves me, challenges me, and inspires me. I don’t limit myself to one subject or style—art, like life, is fluid. Whether abstract or figurative, vibrant or subtle, my work is driven by a desire to connect with others, to spark thought, feeling, and conversation.
