" Moving forward " is from my WALK THE LINE SERIES.
β€œA line is a dot that went for a walk.” - Paul Klee

I applied texture with bright colour background and used one single non-stopped line to portrait the feeling of human kind during tough time in life . Although we felt the future is uncertain , our heart beats going as the days went by while things happened around the world... it can be overwhelming !

However, I choose deliver the feeling of our human courage and positive attitude moving forward into the unknown future! The painting was created in an abstract and expressionism contemporary style.

Horse is my favourite animal. I love how elegant and powerful they are. Often I will go to the horse races or horse club to observe how they move and sketch them closely.

This painting was inspired by the horse race in Listowel, Ireland. I was in Ireland doing my one month artist residency as well as preparing my art exhibition there in June, 2023.

I want to magnify the feeling of the jockey riding the horse running full speed forward to the finish line.To capture the peaceful and magnificent view of the rich greens of fields of Valentia Island slowly rolling out into the Atlantic Sea. A Portrait inspired by a scene from Marie Antoinette film. Aim to capture the beauty and romantic feeling in women's fashion during that period of time.Layers of various green shades with touch of golden sunlight to depict the beautiful fields in Ireland.
