Artwork Description

This striking piece captures one of the powerful rock formations and resilient trees of the Australian landscape in Nitmiluk Gorge, standing tall under an endless blue sky. Textured brushstrokes bring the cliffs to life, evoking both strength and serenity.
Perfect for collectors of Australian art or anyone wanting a bold statement piece for their home.

Artist Bio

Glenda Markwell has had a passion for art from a young age. She has attended various painting and drawing workshops while pursuing a career in advertising and marketing. Formal education and experience in design principles has complemented her art practices.
Her interest has always been painting and drawing from nature, mostly focused on trees, animals,
and other natural objects. Glenda works in pencil, charcoal, acrylic, pastel, watercolour and, more recently, digital media, but her true passion lies with paint and pencil.
Since 2020, she has been focusing more on her artistic pursuits, pushing personal boundaries,
trying new styles, techniques ,and subjects and entering art competitions.
