Lion Island

Lion Island from Ettalong Look Out. The beautiful sphinx like iconic Island on the Central Coast is an attraction for locals and tourists and I have painted it from many angles and never tire of painting it, it draws me to it as it has a sense of protection over the coastal towns that it is visible from.. This painting will bring the same sense of awe to your wall, due to its large size it adds a window to a unique view uplifting your room and home.

Born into a family of artistic people I was surrounded by artworks from various members who taught and made art their life's work. I have won Highly commended prizes in competitions and won in Victoria's Art exhibitions. I began painting when young but became more committed whilst working and teaching art to people with disability and that brought me to work with a mouth painting artist who had an incredible talent and she inspired me by her courage and determination and love of painting bush scenes as I did and we traveled through NSW, Tasmania and worked hard at painting and exhibiting our art. Art is my life and what drives me to get up each day and paint, from landscapes, seascapes, flora and fauna from this beautiful country Australia.
