Ad Cameron Bird artist - A Portrait

Ad Cameron main era was the 1970's whereby he produced several books of the World of birds. A native of Holland his sheer talent is very evident. i very much admire his work. Any birds were his passion, i have included Australian and Per-historic birds along side his portrait. The portrait is not a direct copy, but from some very small images of him and from there i have produced a side portrait of the artist. Ad Cameron 1939 - ?

Studied at east Sydney college in the 1980's, volunteer at the Australian Museum detailed bird drawings in 80's,
I have been a finalist in art awards in Sydney a number of times . e.g. Open prize Fishers Ghost Art Award.
In 2020 B. Visual Arts at Australian National University Canberra .
In 1990 i completed a diploma in Horticulture majoring in landscape design.
I mainly work in colour pencil, i will mix colour pencil with chalk and pastel ,usually large works of art, i will draw birds, landscapes,
fantasy, drawings about the book of revelation in the bible. etc. i also paint in acrylic
My work can be a combination of surrealism and realism, or either.
