Grief Sadness the spirit returns

The artwork is about the order of nun's Grief after the death of Jesus after witnessing his last breath.
The background represents the rock space his body was rested in. Yellow moon seen is a sign of change
with two figures above the river of life. This work indicates the style of cubism combined with Surrealism pointing out the influence of Dali and Picasso.

Studied at east Sydney college in the 1980's, volunteer at the Australian Museum detailed bird drawings in 80's,
I have been a finalist in art awards in Sydney a number of times . e.g. Open prize Fishers Ghost Art Award.
In 2020 B. Visual Arts at Australian National University Canberra .
In 1990 i completed a diploma in Horticulture majoring in landscape design.
I mainly work in colour pencil, i will mix colour pencil with chalk and pastel ,usually large works of art, i will draw birds, landscapes,
fantasy, drawings about the book of revelation in the bible. etc. i also paint in acrylic
My work can be a combination of surrealism and realism, or either.
