Artwork Description

'Peperoncini' meaning chillies in Italian stands for more than just a spice.
Used in most meals as well as a symbol of protection and good luck, the Peperoncini holds great cultural representation and is a sure conversation starter.

Artist Bio

Hi I'm Grace,

Like many, my art journey began as a hobby to share my love for creating, which soon turned into an obsession.

My work is colourful, textural, organic, earth conscious and engaging. I take pride in creating unique pieces, weaving emotion, quirkiness and my cultural identity into them.
I work across all types of mediums, enjoying the process that comes with creating. However, I primarily explore acrylic.

I take in common everyday experiences, things, activities and twist them with colour and expectation in hopes of creating a blissful moment for the viewer.
I love the process that comes with every piece I create and embrace imperfection in my work.

As Frida Kahlo once said,
'The only thing I know is that I paint because I need to, and I paint whatever passes through my head without any other consideration'.
