In this piece from my Phases series, a female figure stands in a grounded, expressive stance beside the moon’s shifting cycle. The work explores women’s health, the tension held within the body, and the emotional complexity of moving through pain, awareness, and healing. It reflects the quiet process of trying to both hold and release — to understand what is changing internally, whilst healing and learning to let go.
The moon acts as a reflective companion throughout this experience, mirroring cycles of discomfort, renewal, and return. There is a constant interplay between strength and vulnerability, control and surrender, body and cosmos.
