Artwork Description

It is an illustration for a children's book I was going to publish. It's about how the pollen is blown away in the wind. It was hand printed by myself with some hand colouring.

Artist Bio

Studied at Bradford Art College in Yorkshire, England. Graham Watson then became an Art Director in London and in 2012 was named by the Design & Art Directors Association as one of the top 20 most awarded Art Directors in the world. He is now a Board Director at Waverley, Woollahra Art School, where he studies painting, life drawing and printmaking. He was a semi-finalist in the Moran Portrait Prize in 2012, 2016 and 2022.
He has been a finalist in the Paddington Art Prize and the Mosman Art Prize with his paintings. He was a finalist in the prestigious Bernie Print Prize in Tasmania and has won the Waverley/Woolhara Print Prize. He has had various joint exhibitions with the Warringah Print Makers, including Manly Art Gallery, Hazelhurst Art Gallery and Newcastle Art Gallery. He recently had a solo exhibition at the TAP Gallery in Sydney of his woodcut prints.
