Artwork Description

The Meeting of Minds is one of my smaller pieces, but the palette really packs a punch with the strong orange and yellow really stands out from behind the serious, thoughtfulness of the blue tones.

This piece id 40.5 x 40.5 cm and would look great as part of a gallery wall in a hallway, or above a desk space, or, wherever you would like a little colour!
This is a stretched canvas, with wire on the back, the sides are painted so is completely ready to hang once you receive it.
If you would like the piece framed, please see the great quality framing option from Bluethumb at the checkout- the work will be delivered directly to you from a local framing company!

If you have any questions about this, or any of my other works, please feel free to drop me an email via Bluethumb.

Artist Bio

I am an artist who works, mostly in abstract art, with a touch of surrealism and a little of the impressionist, and who loves to experiment with media- mostly acrylics at the moment.
I currently reside in Sydney’s Inner West, and love soaking up the culture and expressions of this artistic mecca.

I have been making art, and creative projects from a young age, with some of my very early works (while studying), becoming quite political in either their origins or their outcomes. Growing up in Northern Ireland (UK), provided a lot of inspiration, and opportunity, for political statements, and I can recall my tutors often asking me to hold back a bit, and when I explained my process, was told to really go for it. Sometimes though, I did have to be sensitive to the political situation.

I made the move to Australia a few years ago, and it inspires me every day to be creative. I try to include this, along with my world travels, and experiences from my home, into my abstract work. This could be a colour palette, a sound, a smell, a memory, even a dream, and I try to incorporate this into the creative process. This process can often take me on a journey, of which, I do not always know where it will end! This can be frustrating at times, but mostly, I love the outcome, and this is a huge part of abstract art, (for me anyway).
I hope you enjoy what I create.

Although each of my pieces is completely original and not easy to replicate, I am more than happy to find out your needs, and come up with something in a similar style, that is unique and individual to you.
