Colourful and fluid. Both of these terms feature in my typical style and techniques. The vibrant colours used in Canver will add life to any room or office.
Canver was one of those paintings which occurred as an idea that then, fortunately, turned out really well. Note, not all of them do. About Canver? Well unlike many of my other paintings, which have well thought out ideas and concepts, Canver was all about the colours and the application of paint. Working with such a fluid paint means planning, sketching, even going back to correct mistakes, is just not possible. I equate this style of loose painting to walking a tightrope without a safety net β I only get one chance.
I've used high-quality artist grade paints and an Eraldo quality canvas.
The sides are painted, and the painting itself has been finished with a gloss varnish so that it really shines. It is ready to hang.
Note the images showing the painting mounted on the wall are for illustration purposes only. The correct measurements are provided below. A handy way of determining just how this sized painting will work in your space is to use blue tack dots or masking tape on your wall to plot out the border of the painting. This method gives you a realistic impression of how the painting will fit on your wall
