Artwork Description

Drifter is another bold statement artwork in my Reform series which is composed of bright interlocking structural shapes. You may notice influence in the style coming from artists such as Rothko, Mondrian, and Diebenkorn. Drifter and most of my other paintings, strikes a balance of minimalism, and maximum impact and detail.
There is a lot of complex and more subtle detail is in the edges of the shapes, and in the underpainting. Every colour, every shape, and every line is laboriously contemplated. I love this style!
Though Drifter is a bold statement piece, the colours and the composition are well balanced so that the painting itself if balanced, detailed and interesting to look at, and somewhat relaxed due to the lack of movement.

Drifter has been painted with acrylic paints on a framed cotton canvas. It has painted sides and has been signed on the front. Drifter has been finished off with several coats a matte varnish to protect the painting from dust and sun damage. It is ready to hang in your home or office.

A handy way of determining just how this sized painting will work in your space is to use blue tack dots or masking tape on your wall to plot out the border of the painting. This method gives you a realistic impression of how the painting will fit on your wall
