Pink and blue. Pink and blue. What a combination. Elarette is a new member of the Reform series. The Reform series is a minimalist yet colourful set of abstract geometric architectural abstract artwork. I typically find a building, streetscape or scene in general and then sketch core details which I then elaborate onto the canvas. Dorplete was actually inspired by a late-night visit to a restaurant bar in Sydney where I sat on the balcony overlooking the twilight sky.
Elarette has been painted onto a canvas on a mounted timber base and frame It is about 5cm deep, so it exudes a presence on the wall when hanging.
Elarette has been subtly signed on the front and has been varnished with a matte finish. It is ready to hang.
