Artwork Description

Parisian Rendezvous is a vibrant contemporary abstract painting on canvas that captures the romance and mystery of a chance meeting on a rain-soaked Parisian evening. Rendered in a dazzling palette of bold, expressive colours, the artwork depicts a man and woman sharing an intimate rendezvous beneath shimmering reflections of city lights. Dynamic brushstrokes and layered textures create movement and emotion, while the iconic Eiffel Tower rises gracefully in the background, anchoring the scene in the heart of Paris.
The glistening streets mirror vivid hues of crimson, cobalt, gold, and emerald, transforming the rainy night into a celebration of love, connection, and urban elegance. Blending abstraction with recognizable forms, the painting invites viewers to immerse themselves in a dreamlike atmosphere where romance and imagination intertwine. Rich in colour, energy, and emotion, this captivating work evokes the timeless allure of Paris and the enchantment of an unforgettable evening.

Artist Bio

Hi my name is Grant I have been a frustrated artist all my life but now find myself having the time to pursue what I have always loved to do which is to make interesting and beautiful paintings.
I work from my home studio on the Central Coast of NSW.
My art is the result of that passion and every painting that I do will always be a one off.
I work using only high quality acrylic paint and am more interested in the thick impasto style.
My occupation since leaving school was Newspaper photo/journalist with the Sydney Morning Herald.
Of course photography is a form of art that we all know is closely allied to painting, so it was a no brainer for me to pick up my brushes and paint.
I do not stick to one particular genre, but love painting everything from portraits through to art that invokes thought, an impression or even starts a conversation between viewers of my work.
Throughout my life I have engaged with my passion for drawing and painting . My paintings have sold regularly and are in private collections throughout Australia.
I sincerely hope you as the collector of quality acrylic paintings like my work.
If you like any of the works on my page I would be grateful if not intending to purchase at this time, you could click "Follow" so you can be informed each time I upload a latest work.
Stay safe
Grant.
