This work is based on a lizard I observed in Lamington National Park on a bush walk. The work is part of a series entitled "Romancing the Landscape" where I portray environments from my family ancestry and my own life in a nostalgic and sentimentalized fashion to reflect upon the impact of place on the formation of individuals, family and culture.
