This work is part of a series entitled "Romancing the Landscape" which highlights a romantic and nostalgic approach to my landscape painting and focuses on the significance of location to my family history or to social history and a place's “Memories”. I wanted to focus on a heritage vehicle in historical place that has subtly changed through time. It is meant to be a juxtaposition of religious, social, economic and political factors which interlinks the subject's elements.
