Flannel flowers are one of my favourite subjects. They start appearing here in the Blue Mountains in October and finish in February. This is one of a series of 6 that I did exploring their form and groupings. It was created in Glenbrook National Park in situ using an off camera flash to isolate the subject on a warm summer morning.
