Artwork Description

I used the blue and light purple of alcohol ink to paint the symbolic sky and clouds, plus the silver Chinese calligraphy dragon flying and phoenix dancing, symbolizing the great momentum of the dragon and the tiger.

Artist Bio

Greg Li is an Australian artist and educator who combines realistic style with abstract style. In 1982, he graduated from the China Academy of Art with a bachelor's degree. In 1985, he joined the Chinese Artists Association and served as Secretary General of the Ningbo Industrial Design Association. Greg then immigrated to Australia and settled in Sydney in 1990, and is the founder of the Greg Sydney Artists Studio,He is President of China Academy of Art Australia Alumni Association. He is adept in realistic oil painting, sketching, and color pencil drawings. Since then he has created a large number of abstract paintings with the theme of Chinese cursive and traditional Chinese characters. The colors are novel, the techniques are diverse, and the meaning is profound. Also he created large number of alcohol ink nude and abstract.


