MOTHER

MOTHER" is a medium-sized oil painting created to commemorate my mother. The painting depicts four women and four horses. The cool part in the middle of the painting is the grass calligraphy of the Chinese character "Mom". The whole painting The implication is that the mother will do the horse for the sake of the child. The non-subject part is a polka dot treatment of Australian Aboriginal paintings, which emphasizes the woman's body. The black part is made up of more than 20,000 black round-headed pins to form a black block, which echoes the dots.

Greg Li is an Australian artist and educator who combines realistic style with abstract style. In 1982, he graduated from the China Academy of Art with a bachelor's degree. In 1985, he joined the Chinese Artists Association and served as Secretary General of the Ningbo Industrial Design Association.
