Captured this abandoned restaurant in the Morongo Valley in California's Mojave Desert between Palm Springs and Joshua Tree National Park. It encapsulates the hot and deserted desert roadside stops of the area.

With Tertiary education in Art, a successful award winning career in design, exhibiting at some of Melbourne's most interesting galleries the boxes are ticked.... But this is not an exercise in ticking boxes... painting stormwater drains as a kid in the 80s in Adelaide wasn't about box ticking, travelling to the Mojave desert to photograph what the American dream left behind wasn't about earning a dollar. I paint and photograph items, places and people that inspire and delight me. I create those images to show their beauty and that is delivered in a strong graphic nature be it through colour or composition. I hope they engage you, delight you, calm you or entertain you... if they do let me know.
