Why do people stare - (framed)

Why do people stare, staring in and staring out. Are they staring at the defacing of the object, are they staring into the distance and it's not about the object at all. What I am looking at is the beauty in the everyday objects that are skipped over and perhaps never truly observed.

With Tertiary education in Art, a successful award winning career in design, exhibiting at some of Melbourne's most interesting galleries the boxes are ticked.... But this is not an exercise in ticking boxes... painting stormwater drains as a kid in the 80s in Adelaide wasn't about box ticking, travelling to the Mojave desert to photograph what the American dream left behind wasn't about earning a dollar. I paint and photograph items, places and people that inspire and delight me. I create those images to show their beauty and that is delivered in a strong graphic nature be it through colour or composition.
