Oil, Linen, Ready to hang
117cm (W) x 106cm (H) x 3cm (D)
Painting of Centre Place Laneway in Melbourne. Melbourne has some great little laneways with fantastic cafes and street art. Oil on Linen with a gloss varnish.
Greg Sage’s landscapes are rich in colour and beautifully detailed. Each work takes months to complete, every one is unique and based on direct observation or photographs that he has taken. There is something meditative when viewing his work, of a place and time that will never be repeated showing the transient nature of our place. Greg Sage has a studio on the Mornington Peninsula and his work reflects his love of this landscape and of his travels.
