Piran is a small seaside city in Slovenia with amazing sunsets over the Adriatic sea. This is a large feature canvas where I have tried to capture the sun setting in realistic detail.
Greg Sage’s landscapes are rich in colour and beautifully detailed. Each work takes months to complete, every one is unique and based on direct observation or photographs that he has taken. There is something meditative when viewing his work, of a place and time that will never be repeated showing the transient nature of our place. Greg Sage has a studio on the Mornington Peninsula and his work reflects his love of this landscape and of his travels.
