This is a bird's-eye-view inspired by the unique and historical landscape of the Rawbelle township site located in the upper Burnett region of Queensland. It is thought that the gully was once the main wool road between Gayndah and Gladstone, crossing the Nogo at the township in the late 1800s. It is an oil on canvas, finished with white edges that are intentionally left with paint spills to add to the visual impact of the piece. It is signed and ready-to-hang and will bring a sense of adventure and natural beauty to any space.

Artist Bio
The nickname was first used by my uncle when I was a youth. The years of that young stockman and dozer driver are now a distant memory.
I was born in country Queensland and spent my early childhood on a cattle property situated along the Nogo River. As a five-year-old, I would go out into the paddocks with my father and I've felt a strong connection to that landscape ever since.
I'm a mainly self taught artist and I work in oils on canvas. I got my first set of oils at age nine and immediately did a painting of the big gum tree at the front of the house. I now continue to paint as 'Greybeard' that harsh country that is so familiar to me.
